Undergraduate Admissions
We encourage you to contact our department while you are considering how
Biomedical Engineering at Case is right for you. We offer individual consultations
with primary faculty and tours of our classrooms, laboratories, and building throughout the year.
The undergraduate admissions process is conducted through the
Case Office of Undergraduate Admissions.
Case offers a single-door admission policy: you apply to the entire university,
not to a specific department. This provides you with an important advantage, because
you don't have to choose a major when you apply. In fact, once you're admitted, you
can change your major at anytime without applying to a different department!
There's only one application to complete. You can
apply online,
which is easy, efficient, and cost-effective: Case waives the $35 application fee
for applications submitted online. You can also take advantage of one of many other
convenient ways to submit your application. We consider your application individually,
offer credit for Advanced Placement, and guarantee on-campus housing.
You can apply for non-binding early action or regular decision as a freshman.
You can also apply to Case as an
international student,
home-schooled student,
transfer student, or
binary student.
We recognize that the cost of higher education is a major consideration.
Case offers
financial aid to address individual needs.
In fact, 92% of freshmen admitted in 2003 received aid, with an average financial aid package of $23,458.
No matter how you choose to apply to Case, check out our
admissions calendar
to make sure you apply on time.
