Q:  When are the deadlines for applications to be submitted?
A:  Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. Most opportunities for financial support are available if complete applications for the spring semester are submitted by November 15, and for the fall semester by February 1.

Q:  Do I have to take the TOEFL if I have taken it previously?
A:  No. TOEFL is required from an international student who is not native English speaker, unless a graduate from a U.S. university.

A:  Typical GPA is greater than 3.5/4.0, but the the students from highly competitive universities may have a lower GPA.

Q:  How can I set up a campus visit for graduate study in BME?
A:  Based on complete applications that are highly rated, students will be invited to campus for a weekend at the end of February with most expenses paid. Students are not encouraged to come to campus for a visit unless a faculty member is willing to meet with the student.
 
Q:  What mathematics is required for graduate study in BME?
A:  The minimal level is four semesters calculus with differential equations. Most students will have mathematical applications in engineering at a higher level.
