Tissue Engineering

A Postdoctoral Research Fellowship in the area of biomaterials and tissue engineering is available in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Case Western Reserve University . The position is available immediately and must be filled as soon as possible. Applicants should have completed a PhD or MD/PhD in biomedical engineering or related field with a concentration in biomaterials, drug delivery, tissue engineering, or stem cell therapeutics. A highly motivated candidate is sought with an experimental background, a strong academic and publication record, and the ability to work independently. Experience with cell culture, molecular biology techniques, and polymer synthesis and characterization is highly desirable. Good written and verbal communication skills are crucial. Applicants will be expected to integrate into a multidisciplinary tissue engineering laboratory comprised of faculty, postdoctoral fellows, graduate students, and undergraduate students.
