Yanina Grinberg receives the 2007 BMES Undergraduate Student Design and Research Award

Yanina Grinberg

BME Undergraduate Yanina Grinberg recently received the 2007 BMES Undergraduate Student Design and Research Award. This award has been presented each year since 1992 in recognition for outstanding biomedical engineering research. Ms. Grinberg's work with Assistant Professor Kenneth Gustafson "Physiologic fascicle size and perineurial thickness affect stimulation selectivity" was considered by the Committee strong enough to be one of only six awards this year. Case graduate student Matt Schiefer and Assistant Professor Dustin Tyler are co-authors on the paper.

Ms. Grinberg will present her work and receive the award at the annual fall BMES conference this September in Los Angeles, California. The award consists of a certificate, a stipend, a complimentary registration for the meeting, and travel expenses
