BME Labs Recognized as "Outstanding Design"
THE NEURAL ENGINEERING AND NEURAL PROSTHESIS RESEARCH LABORATORY IN WICKENDEN BUILDING RECEIVES RECOGNITION
George Cadwallader, Director of construction, renovation
and planning, an the firm of Hasenstab Architects Inc. were honored
for "Outstanding Design" by American School & University magazine
for their work on the Department of Biomedical Engineering's new Neural
Engineering and Neural Prosthesis Research Laboratory in the Wickenden
Building. American School & University is sent to more
than 63,000 facility planners, school and university administrators
and architects.
The Department of Biomedical Engineering would like to thank George Cadwallader and Hasenstab Architects Inc. for their novel design of the Neural Engineering and Neural Prosthesis Research Laboratory---their unique approach has transformed our old workplace into an asthetic "second home".
