Research Summary
Our research focuses on the development of new responsive MRI contrast agents that detect the presence of functional or molecular markers of disease. We develop and apply these new MRI agents to non-invasively assess disease states in pre-clinical models of disease. Our research also focuses on the development of new contrast agents for Dynamic Contrast Enhancement MRI to assess tumor angiogenesis and anti-angiogenic therapies. We also develop new MRI contrast agents and MRI methods to assess cartilage degeneration.
