Medtronic Foundation Scholarship
Department of Biomedical Engineering
Case Western Reserve University

The Medtronic Foundation has given money to the Case Department of Biomedical Engineering to fund undergraduate tuition scholarships. This year, four awards will be given at $4,000 for each award. Awards will apply to the 2008-2009 academic year, as they will be retroactive for the fall 2008 semester, and will also apply to the spring 2009 semester. You are encouraged to apply.

Criteria are:
• Case Undergraduate majoring in BME
• Sophomore, Junior, or Senior class standing (Seniors graduating in May 2009 are eligible)
• 3.0 GPA or higher
• Outstanding involvement in service, research, or industrial development in BME

A committee of BME faculty members will choose awardees. Please note that tuition aid cannot exceed the cost of tuition. If an award would put you over the limit for a year, BME will consider the application ineligible.

Deadline: 5pm, March 18, 2009.

Please contact Angelica Bracanovic if you have questions.
