As in 2006, the BMES undergraduate group has secured funding from CAA for students to travel to the International BMES conference to present their work! This is a great opportunity and it will be in California for 2007! The way to prepare for this is to do a good summer internship at Case!
If you are interested in doing this at Case, start by finding a lab where you can work. Probably most internships are arranged with individual faculty members paying the students off of research grants. However, there are some special funding opportunities at Case and at other institutions. Links are given below.
